This service is fast and efficient, only taking around 5 to 10 hours, dependent on sample size.
A small company is interested in knowing four key areas about their website:
how traffic is directed to their site; whether their visitor demographic differs to their target market;
the comparison between the total volume of traffic and conversions; and the steps visitors take to reach conversions.
Firstly, a meeting is set to gather pre-existing thoughts and estimations about these key areas, setting a benchmark that can be used as a comparative when the data is collected. A three month data collection period is agreed upon to allow a larger sample of conversions to take place. Within this period the company requests that raw data updates are given every two weeks, a small concise report made every month, and an in-depth conclusive report with insights to be received after the completion of the three month period.
Once the goals and contract period are negotiated, the markup of the website is updated to implement Google Analytics, allowing the mining of data to commence. The traffic data is monitored periodically to ensure consistency and limit unwanted surprises.
With the first small report submitted, it is recognised that the bounce rate on the home page is higher than expected. Within the report it is outlined that this may be due to the browsers and devices that their traffic is using to view their pages. With this, the company requests two additional areas to be monitored: the relative percentages of traffic using specific browsers and devices, and how this affects the bounce rates.
On completion of the three month period the final report is submitted offering answers and insights into the six areas of inquiry. For example, it is found that the majority of their traffic is directed to their site via organic search (search engines), and that well over half of their visits are made via mobile devices with comparatively large bounce rates. Possible amendments to their site are given to aid in increasing traffic and avoiding premature departures, such as: improving the SEO (search engine optimisation), making their site appear higher in search engine rankings, and therefore easier for potential customers to find; and to make their web pages responsive via media and support queries.
This package was quoted at £860 for the three months, broken down into 33 hours at £20 (for meetings and correspondence, installation, and monitoring), and 8 hours at £25 (for report writing).

Upon completion of the analytical review of their web pages, a small company decides to update specific areas of their website
Within a meeting it is proposed that three areas of the website should be amended: the overall layout, the responsive design, and the interactivity of specific page elements.
Ideas are exchanged and a few collaborative designs of how the mobile and desktop pages are sketched out as a foundation.
Graphic design tools are used to create three potential candidates for the final design and are sent to the company for review. One design is favoured above the rest, but it is requested that a few amendments are made. Upon completion of the updates, both parties agree on the design and it is signed off for construction. Throughout the construction process, progress reports are made to keep the company informed and up to date.
Once the construction is complete, the site design is sent for a final review, at which point slight alterations are requested at the expense of a few more hours. With the alterations complete, the company launches their updated site with an agreement to continue monitoring its traffic data for the period of one month, to track short term differences. With the additional month of traffic monitoring complete, a short report is presented to give some perspective of how the amended site has affected its traffic.
This package was quoted at £810 for the design work and additional month of analysis, broken down into 20 hours at £30 (for meeting and correspondence, design, and construction), 8 hours at £20 (for 1 month of traffic monitoring), and 2 hours at £25 (for the final report).
